Figure 10.13a,b: These two figures demonstrate how using multiple zones can effect the grid solution. In a) a single semivariogram model was used with a range of about 150m. In b) a short range (50m) has used in the upper portion of the cross- section, and 300m has used in the lower section. In b) the continuous nature of the lower portion of the actual site and the discontinuous nature of the upper section is well captured. The vertical features on the figures are the well locations.
